The MInDS team are committed to advocating for consistent promotion structures across academic institutions to support the long-term career growth of InRAs. To do this, our Career Advisory Group (CAG) will work in partnership with the Academy of Mathematical Sciences to draft a “green paper” for consultation across the community, outlining pathways for InRA career progression. The CAG consists of experts and career professionals in the field and membership will evolve as the MInDS network grows. The CAG is chaired by Professor Simon Hettrick (University of Southampton), who has significant experience in this space gained from spearheading a campaign to gain recognition for Research Software Engineers.
